OKAL (@IAMOKAL) - PANA COVER

Pana by tekno is no doubt a banging song and it sure deserves a cover. A young female voice has decided to jump on the beat to make a pana refix remade and mixed by Notchman. 18 years old ‘Okal’ and her melodious voice did justice to the song; we believe it will rock the airwaves and playlist of many.

THE ARTISTE

An artiste is a person who pick up all the words thrown on the street, recycle them, construct sentences with them and give it back to the street in rhythms.
This is called creativity. So it is safe to say "An artiste is a creative person."

Some people refer to artistes of today as people who couldn't do well in school or trade and then resulted to be musicians. But come to think of it, how can somebody that couldn't do well in school put words together in a rhythmical way/pattern? Common sense you may say.

Artistes are talented set of people that turn words into poetry, sentences into music and get paid for it.
An artiste is an entrepreneur. He organises, manages and bears risk for himself in the process with a view to making profit (profit here doesn't basically refer to money but fame).

He possesses the following characteristics:

ENERGY
The mental energy enables him to reason, think and plan for a man that is mentally strong cannot be confused

NEED TO ACHIEVE

Every of his behavior, motive, attitude or aspiration is about '"what is the next mountain to possess?"
He takes delight in achieving results.

TASK ORIENTED
An entrepreneurial artiste is one that lay hands on something to do and really does it well. He is not synonymous with abandoned projects but he always delivers conscientiously.

EMPATHY
He puts himself in the shoes of other people. He has human feeling as he feels what others feel.

SKILLS
This is the knowledge, style or technical talents by which an artiste can take advantage of a concept in realizing the aims and objectives of a song.

INTERNAL FOCUS OF CONTROL
The artiste believe his personal achievement or setbacks are within his his personal influence and control. This shows that they are not so much result of fate, luck or other external uncontrollable factors. He accepts himself, but does not depend on good luck.

BREAKING NEWS - E MONEY DISCOVERS SHOE RACK HAWKER AND GIVES HIM NEW CAR + 300K

This was disclosed yesterday on KCEE'S official Instagram handle. See photos below

Five star music president Emeka Okonkwo popularly known as ‘EMoney’ is a year older today and to celebrate it, he decided to give back to the street.

To do this, he flashed back to sometime last year when the label’s front line act Kcee was on the street of Lagos hawking recharge cards. Kcee had met Promise, a ‘shoe – rack’ hawker from Ebonyi state who has been hawking for over 6 years and promised to help him.

Fast forward to today and E-money’s desire to bless the street, the Five Star music crew went in search of Promise who hawks at ‘Ikeja Along’, Lagos. On getting there, the young man, Promise  and brother has just been picked up by officials of KAI (Kick Against Indiscipline) and transported to their office in Alausa, Ikeja.

Kcee and the crew went in search of him at the KAI office and after several hours of pleading, he was released into their custody after signing an undertaking that he will not hawk again.

Promise has just been given a brand new Toyota Corolla car courtesy of E-Money as well as the sum of #300,000 to get a new apartment. Also his brother and friend that Hawks with him also got a cash gift from the generous EMONEY.

We reached out to Kcee to comment on this and he simply said, ‘If you follow the Five Star music family you’ll know this is what we do, it’s my brother’s birthday and he decided to give back to the street and we are grateful to God for his mercies and grace upon us.
